Method: Get a type of eye and pull it apart to see the different parts.
Results: We learnt a lot, A messy classroom, People feeling sick.
What I learnt: I learnt a lot but one of the most fascinating things I learnt is what the parts look like and feel like in real life.
On Thursday we had a really different science experiment, Well basically we were pulling apart a cow eye. Our aim of this was to see all of the different eyepieces.
The first thing we did was get the eye and put it in a tray, Then it was time to dissect the eye. We had to get rid of all the muscles and fat from around the eye. Once we finally finished that we poked the middle of the eye we got told that a weird type of liquid would ooze out we cut the eye and then we squeezed the eye and this weird looking liquid came out.
Here I will explain what some of the parts do in the eye.
Vitreous Humor: This is a part of the eye that had all the weird liquid
Iris: This is the coloured bit in your eye and controls the pupils' size
Cornea: This is the front of the eye it protects the eye.
Overall I enjoyed this experiment because it got messy and fun.
