In art lately, we have been focusing on our painting. We are trying something called underpainting. That is when you paint your background then let it dry after that you paint over it to make the front colours standout.

It would be better to make the background darker because it would standout easier but also better. Mine doesn't look amazing because I rushed it now I wish I took my time with because it would look way better.


Before we did all this painting we did something called tonal range this is where you get a colour you make it really light and it gets darker because you add tiny amounts of black to make darker colours of the same colour.

Coke Distillation

Aim: To Separate a solute for a solvent in a solution using Distillation 

Equipment: A Solution of salt water, Conical Flask, Heatproof mat, a delivery tube and bung, Bunsen Burner, Tripod, Gauze mat, retort stand, boss head and clamp, And a boiling tube

Method: 

1. Set up your destination process if you don't know how to do it search it up, 

2. Add proximally 50ml of coke to your beaker

Introduction: On Tuesday we did an experiment we had a coke bottle. we had to Distillate it which means we had to separate 2 liquids. In this case, it was coke and another liquid called water. We did this because of evaporation when we did it the liquid that evaporated went into a beaker it looked really cool.
