In English, we watch a movie called The Giver it's about a world where everyone has the same emotions and no one is different, How you ask? because they get injections every morning. A boy named Jonna pushed the limits from missing that injection. Just to see what will happen. So Jonas and his best friend Fiona tried to escape Jonas succeeded but Fiona got caught. You won't believe what happened next

In Health we have been learning about Hauora. That is what makes you, you!

There are 4 Dimensions, Taha Tinana (Physical), Taha Wairua (Spiritual), Taha Hinengaro (Social) And last but not least Taha Whanau (Mental and emotional)

In Health the past few days we have been making a house and on each side,

we have to write what that dimension means.

Science

Aim

To show that hydrogen gas is produced when a metal reacts with acid

Equipment 

Test Tube, Boiling tube, Bunsen Burner, Wooden splint, A bottle of acid, a Piece of metal and Saftey glasses

In class we watched metal go into 2 different acids. It started to bubble

The Hypothesis

I think it will bubble up 

Method

Light your bunsen burner

Add your sample of metal 2ml of acid

add a sample of metal to you test tube add 2 ml of acid

Hold the test tube together for a few mins, Allowing time for the inverted boiling tube to fill with gas.

when you think the tube is full your lab partner should light a wooden splint

Carefully, but quickly tilt the boiling tube full of gas upwards and insert the burning splint into the mouth of the test tube
